About Fanoos Coffee

Fanoos Coffee is more than a name—it’s a memory. Growing up, I was in charge of lighting the fanoos (lantern) each evening while my mother prepared fresh Arabian coffee for our family. That small ritual lit something in me. As I got older, I fell in love with the craft of coffee and worked in cafés across the city, learning everything I could about flavor, technique, and hospitality.

Fanoos Coffee was born from those memories—from the glow of the lantern, the aroma of coffee, and the joy of sharing coffee with others. Today, we’re proud to be a small, San Francisco-based startup bringing that same spirit to our community through locally roasted Arabian beans, a mobile coffee cart, and a commitment to creating meaningful connections, one cup at a time. Fanoos is a bridge between past and present—where tradition, story, and flavor come together.
